It's Monday. Time to start our week out in the best possible manner!

Today's card is Visualization. It's main meaning is "Your clairvoyance, your dreams, and pictures in your mind's eye are becoming more clear and powerful. This card asks you to trust and to develop your visual skills, and to use them in conscious manifestation."

The guidebook gives us further instructions, telling us to take some time each day, sitting quietly and picture our lives healthy, happy and abundant. Make the pictures clear and precise. If you focus on things you do not want, you will manifest them as well.

The fairies want us to know that clairvoyance and visualization are safe and powerful tools to use in our lives.

Today's affirmation is "It is safe for me to see. I am a very visual person."

We All Need A Vacation!!!!

Well Fairy World Inhabitors,

Since it is almost mid-day, welcome to the rest of your day. I hope your morning has been productive.

To we will talk about the card Vacation. This card's main focus is "You need a break from routines and stressful situations. This card urges you to take time for yourself so that you can rest and renew."

Truer words have not been spoken.

Vacation does not have to long or expensive, just a break from your regular routine. I guess in theory, it could even be a day in the backyard without the cellphone!

We need to recharge so we are fresh and ready to go. Vacation!!!!

The guide book tells us the Fairies vacation often. They go off and visit other fairy glens and see new sights. Apparently there really is a Vacationland for fairies!

So set sometime and refresh yourself. We all need it!

Today's Affirmation is "I give myself permission to regularly rest and relax, knowing that by being revitalized, I am happier and more productive."

The Movie In My Head......

Good Morning Fairy World Inhabitors!

I trust that you have had a wonderful few days since we last spoke.

Today's card from the Healing with the Fairies deck is Happily Ever After. The card's main message is "A happy outcome is assured. Relax any anxiety and feel secure that everything is resolved in the end."

The deck's guide book goes onto tell us that the movie in our heads, the one that we are currently starring in will have a happy ending! The one caveat is that we have to be positive that it is going to be that way. We essentially are the only ones that could ruin our own happy ending with negative thoughts and actions.

Do you know what this means? This is so huge! For me it means that I have many more happy years with my wonderful husband, a life that we both feel fulfilled in. That my children will grow and prosper and have fruitful lives of their own filled with happiness. That all of my family finds the joy and prosperity that they all so deserve and know that I love them. That all the creatures on earth find the peace and comfort that is promised to all of God's creatures. On smaller notes, I can stick to my new exercise program and my hair color will turn out okay!

Ahh who doesn't love a movie, especially with a happy ending? And to know what role we have to play in that movie, doesn't it make it that much more exciting? Just to think, we are the writer, producer, director and actors. The Fairies are script advisers. They encourage to keep that good parts going and nudge a little when it is going astray. And God. Well He is the really cool studio exec that oversees the whole project. He pretty much lets us run the whole show. He gives us guideance along the way but overall He just steps in when we have run the movie way, way off course!

So I am going back for more popcorn, sprinkled with Fairy Dust of course!

Magic of Nature

Hello to All of Fairy World!

Are you ready to sprinkle some fairy dust today?

Today's card from the Healing with the Fairies deck is the Magic of Nature. It's main message is "Spend time outdoors, among the flowers, plants, and trees. Nature has powerful gifts that she wants to share with you, including ideas, information, and healing energy."

We have seen a card similar to this one in the other deck. Apparently this message is an important one. Considering the time of year, it is one we can heed easily.

The guide book suggest that we spend at least 5 minutes per day outside in nature. Remove our shoes and socks and feel the grass and dirt right under our feet and revel in the glory that nature is. Close our eyes and leave our minds open for answers. Answers that we might not have known we needed! Open our eyes and the little flits of light are the fairies flying away!

So what's a fairy world girl to do? Head outside we need the fresh air!!!

Honor Thy Self

Good Morning Fairy World Inhabitors!

I hope all is well in your corner of Fairy World!

Today we are going to change things up a little bit with a different deck of Fairy Oracle Cards. This deck is called "Healing with the Fairies". This deck is also by Dr. Doreen Virtue PhD.

Today's card from this deck is Honoring Your True Feelings. The main message from the card is "By drawing this card, you're urged to listen to, and follow, your true feelings. Do not betray yourself, or rationalize that it's acceptable to deny your inner voice of truth."

This guide book goes on to tells us about our inner counselor knowing all. That tug in your heart or clench in your stomach are just some physical signs that you are going in the wrong direction, so to speak, and you know it. Some refer to this is the "fight or flight" reaction, but it always does not have to occur in a bad situation. It actually occurs all the time.

The fairies know how important it is to listen to our inner guidance and true feelings and they ask us to do the same!

This particular deck is neat as it gives us a daily affirmation that corresponds and today's is "I listen to, honor, and follow my true feelings, knowing that they are answers to my prayers."

Express Your Individuality

Hello to All in Fairy World,

I hope that you rested well and awoke with all the promise of a new day!

Today's card is one we have not seen before, Express Your Individuality. The card's main message is "Allow your true self to shine because you're awesome!" Well, that is certainly a cheerful note on a Monday morning!

The guide book gives us the additional thoughts, that the fairies want us to accept and celebrate our uniqueness without concern how it will be socially accepted. Be our creative selves! Trust and follow through with our creative ideas.

This very card is like the keys to the kingdom! If you want pink hair, have pink hair! If you want to only wear yellow all the time, wear yellow all the time. Be free! But the most important part is expressing yourself through this freedom.

Think about how this applies to you. It could be very liberating! The more comfortable you are, the more work you do!

Pull out those purple sweats, wear them sprinkle with fairy dust!

Today the fairies spoke very loudly and proudly to me (must have been the fairy dust!) the card they sent was You've Got the Power! This card's main message is "Use your abilities to resolve this situation. You can do it!"

What a straight forward message!

The guide book questions if we have been feeling victimized lately because the fairies want to remind us that no matter what the circumstances, we have the personal power, power that is very strong, to conquer any situation. Fairies are only tiny beings, but look at what they can do!

The simple truth is the we have to believe and trust ourselves. We can climb any mountain, cross any river, meet any deadline, have the life of our dreams...if we just believe!

Eating Better

Good Morning Fairy World Inhabitors!

I hope that you feel well rested and refreshed.

We had a marathon weekend with my DD's dance convention/competition. End result- she competes in six dances and they took 2 golds, 4 silvers and the "production" number which is all 27 dancers took third place overall in their category. She was awesome!

I almost feel normal today!

Onto today's card which is Vegetarian. The card's main message is "A new way of eating gives you more energy, greater health, clarity, and stronger manifestation abilities."

I personally about once a year try on the vegetarian lifestyle. About every three or so I try totally vegan. I do it for a while and then, I crack. It is usually stress that pushed me over and I go searching for my comfort foods.

The guide book states that more than ever we have to be more aware of what we are eating, that it be in it's purest form, organic and that we say a brief prayer of gratitude for the energy that the food provides.

This past weekend should be a great example for me to take heed. I ate junk. Snack foods, pizza, drank coffee and more pop than usual. And today, Tuesday, I am still dragging my butt! No wonder why I got this card!

We have to listen to the fairies, they are vegetarians, eat right and they send little messages to help us. Let's listen real hard! Oh and enjoy the fairy dust they sprinkle!

Messengers From God

Good Morning to All in Fairy World,

I hope your dreams were pleasant and your sleep wash refreshing.

I have this thing happening lately, I think of everything before it happens. Better than that, I toss around a whole topic in my head and the next day I do my usual quiet time with the fairies, shuffle three times, cut the cards and pull out a middle card and there are my thoughts right there in front of me on the card. Now am I being listened to or am I listening and not even knowing it? And the is the third possibility, that is it's a little of both!

We need to sidetrack for a brief moment. We have never really defined who the fairies were. Mom and I like this definition the best, described by Dr. Doreen Virtue PH.D. in her book Fairies 101, "Fairies are angels who reside very close to the earth so they can perform their Divine mission of protecting nature and animals." She goes onto say, "Unlike guardian and archangels, fairies have egos. In this way, they're similar to humans in that they make judgments. When fairies meet you they judge you for how you treat the environment and animals." And one more thought from Dr. Virtue, "Because they're so close to the earth, the fairies can assist you with material concerns involving money, home, health, your gardens, and your pets." So summing that up fairies are creatures from God and like all of God's creatures, they can be/are messengers from God. (Again, God, Creator, Universe all interchangeable in this conversation.)

So the fairies are bringing messages from God. So when I think about a situation and toss things around in my head and I pull the corresponding card the next morning, is God answering my question? Or was I listening to God in the first place and the card I pulled was another part of the conversation? Or is it both?

I have always had this dream to be totally self-employed, earning a living from my creativity. And like I have spoken about before, I have had many starts and many more stops. Things were never just "right". My shop, my paper creations, my creativity are growing by the day. Not at a breakneck speed, but in a way that finally makes me feel like I am coming into my own. Or maybe I was always there, I just had to realize it. Anyway, last night I was inspired to rewrite my bio for my etsy shop. I originally had two lines, one about my family and one about what I like to do. Then after reading some business advice books, I went in to do the revision, figuring I could expand a little. Well an hour later and ( including daydreaming time) I ended up with what I would call my creed, my fundamental belief on what my creations should be. My personal standard in which I will measure my work. My creativity put into words! So I printed out two copies for myself, one for my business plan and one to be displayed in my work area to be guidelines for all my work.

So this morning, I wake up and get my husband off to work and decide to do this post now instead of going back to bed. (It was 4:00 am). I do my usual ritual with the fairies and the cards and look at the card I pulled..Business Venture! The cards main message is "Trust and follow through an a new business idea."

The guide book for the cards expands on this idea to day that I desire self-employment and that my recent business ideas are valid that I can trust my intuition with respect to them. It also says that I should meditate upon my true professional desire as several options are becoming available to me. Furthermore it states that my new business venture will be successful, take action int he direction of my profession dreams and I should trust my gut. Also, write down and act upon my business ideas. Talk about validation form me!

Now for the bigger picture, when I have my quiet time I ask what the collective we needs to know and I pull my card. While I interpret for myself, there are a lot of you out there that this applies to. This is probably the answer so many others were looking for. Like the fairies, I am a messenger from God! Ahhh, but I lack the fairy dust!

On a side note, my daughter will be competing this weekend in dance and we will be staying away from the house. This might disrupt my posting schedule a bit, please bear with me.

Spring

Rise and Shine Fairy World Inhabitors,

It's time to start your day with fairy dust added!

Today's card is Spring. The main message is "Your desires fully manifest as the flowers begin to bloom". Ahhh..what a beautiful thought!

The guide book suggest that the event of spring will bring a birth of everything including our wishes, dreams and the start of natures beautiful cycle.

Spring is such a wonderful time overall. All the green start sprouting from the dark wintered earth. The flowers emerge with their stems standing tall, waiting for the right time to show their beautiful heads in all their glory. Time for all the animals to give birth and add to their families. Such a wonderful time indeed!

Spring is about starting new. The Spring Equinox occurs on March 21 and from an astrological standpoint, this is the true New Year, not January 1. The Spring Equinox is the time to asses the things that we wish to see happen through the rest of the year. It is planting our own seeds to blossom beautifully at a later date!

The fairies love spring as well for all of the obvious reasons. It is the beginning of their season. Time for them to revel and rejoice in nature and their very surroundings! That being said consider planting a fairy garden for your enjoyment and theirs. It will be magical!

Well, my dear fairy friends, I leave you with this thought...keep your thoughts and actions positive as they are the seeds that will soon bloom in your own glorious garden!

I'm Asking! I'm Asking!

Good Morning Fairy World Inhabitors!!!

Welcome to another beautiful day in our fairy world! I hope you feel well rested because some little fairies have told me that this is going to be a fantastic day! Sprinkled with fairy dust.

Today's card is Ask for What You Want. The main message is "Let the Universe and other people know what you need". ***Note, for the purpose of conversations the Universe and God are interchangeable.***

The guidebook for the cards goes on to suggest that we have to spend time clarifying our desires and then we ask for them. Always end your request to the Universe with "this or something better. Thank you". You can vocally make your request in a quiet time of prayer, you can build a vision board (there are some great instructions here at Christine Kane's blog) or you can write each request down and put it in a "God Box". All three are great methods. Just know what you are asking for.

While searching to clarify your desires, be sure to refer to yesterday's post about True Feelings, because if you make, for instance "really cool car" as one of your desires, a Corvette is not going to show up. If you realize that you are seeking dependable transportation that you can take pride in, well anything can show up. Also, when I speak of "showing up", I am referring to the set of circumstances that always seem to click that brings you your end result.

The book also suggests we speak with others and let them know what we desire. This is not the "Honey I want a 10 bedroom mansion" talk, this is the "Honey, when it comes to you and me, I would like to work on xyz" talk. The important thing with this element is you have to be prepared to listen as much as you want to be heard.

So what does this all boil down to? COMMUNICATION!!! With yourself, with the Universe, with others. Sprinkled with fairy dust! Isn't life magical?

5 Reasons for Forgiveness

Good Morning Fairy World Inhabitors!

Ahhh...another beautiful morning in our lovely fairy world. It is Sunday, a time for a little extra rest for some, did you get yours?

The snow is through here with a hair over the 4" mark. Even though I do not care for winter anymore at this point, the untouched parts of my yard are quite scenic.

This morning's quiet time led me to pick a whopper of a card! Whom Do You Need to Forgive? This particular card has the message of "As you release old anger or resentment, you will find that your wishes will come true". Whopper indeed.

So to tackle today's topic, I will give you 5 reasons for forgiveness.

1. Holding a grudge is one of the most crippling things you can do. It sucks the life out of you. There is an old saying "If you hold a grudge you should dig 2 graves, one for the person and one for yourself".
2. The person that you are hold the grudge against might not be aware or if they are, they are past it. They aren't losing sleep or raising their blood pressure over it..just you.
3. Life is energy and the grudge blocks that energy. Can you feel it?
   
4. In the big picture of things, someone might have a grudge against you and you are past it or oblivious of it. You forgiving your grudge on someone else will cause a chain reaction of others forgiving theirs. TA-DA! No resentments!
5. It is just a calmer, more serene life to live.

The guide book also suggest that we forgive ourselves. That is a whopper too! Are you holding something in that you did and just cannot get past? Well my friend, right here, right now, LET IT GO! Seriously, can you change the initial action? NO. Can you change to immediate outcome of said action? NO. Can you change to long range outcome of the initial action? Yes, actually you can. If you cannot forgive yourself for something you carry this guilt with you. This will eat you alive, not being able to function guilt that just radiates off you like light in a mirror. How do you go on having healthy relationships if your past guilt is blinding everyone (metaphorically)?

Two other foods for thought.

First, the book suggest to stop judging others. We all make judgments that others would not. Like driving, someone brakes right in front of you. We shouldn't call them the choice name, instead we should quickly acknowledge that the made a decision to do something that you would not. Plain and simple, all done.

Second food for thought stop playing the victim! (As suggested by the guide book). Stop verbally trying to get more mileage out of what so and so said or did, how they wronged you. First take a good look to see what your part was in the whole situation. This goes back to the judging others thing. Were your ears tuned to hear what you thought you wanted to hear, good or bad, and not actually what is being said? And if it were true that the person has really wronged you, write it off and let it go...right there...right then, because it only grows.

Fairies are serene creatures that live a pure life and love nature. They encounter things they do not like, like littering and they encourage you to clean it up. They don't wage a battle against everyone for one person who litters. Let's learn from the fairies.

This was another day that the info just flowed out of my fingers. My hope is that I can apply my own advice on a full time basis!

My True Self

Good Morning Fairy World Inhabitors,

I hope you have woke well rested from your sleep, perhaps with the memory of a few magical dreams?

Today my quiet time with the fairies led me to draw the card Be Yourself. The main thought on the card is "This situation calls for you to be your authentic self, which is the basis for your personal power". Well, if that is not a whole bunch to digest!

Merriam-Webster defines authentic as true to one's own personality, spirit or character. I guess we have to explore who we are to see if we are being true.

So Who am I? Well, I am a loving wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, step-mother, cousin, niece and granddaughter. I am a good friend, though I do not have a lot of friends. I am a caring human being. At times I am opinionated and I get frustrated when everyone else does not see my point of view a brilliant. I am creative and I have a great sense of humor. But these are all character traits, are they the make up of the whole of my spirit? Maybe...

You know, it just occurred to me that I could continue to pick myself apart, almost be overly critical about myself but I am much more than my flaws. I am much more than I probably realize. I am a work in progress. And maybe I cannot define all that makes me up, I just know that I am.

This is like a breakthrough moment for me and perhaps for you. Why do we label? Are we searching for our personal definition that makes us what we are? Should we not realize that we create that definition. That we need no definition. Go with the flow and not only accept where it brings us but bask in it. Enjoy it!

Yesterday on my personal blog, I spoke of the fact that I am having a hard time taking on the "artist" label with my work, that right now I prefer "designer". Essentially it really does not matter. I make cool stuff! Some cooler than others, but cool none-the-less. (Which will be in my personal etsy shop soon, stay tuned).

So to sum this whole thing up...JUST BE! And embrace being. Fairies do. They love being fairies. You do not see them trying to mold themselves into something they aren't. They are fairies and they love it!

You know when I sit down and start writing, I truly do not know where this will take us. It is sort of interesting to see where we end up. Then it all just click and the words pour from my hands. Thanks for reading along.

Change the Diet, Change the Life!

Good Morning Fairy World inhabitors!

I trust all is well with all of you. I am happy to report that the 3 year old DS slept in his own room last night so I awoke with the twists in my back trying to work themselves out.

It snowed yesterday, light, just enough to cover the grass and ground and it is way cold today. But the cool thing is in my yard, I have some undisturbed pretty snow. For a while at least.

After some quiet consultation, I asked the Fairies what today's message should be. I shuffled my deck and pulled the card Dietary Change. The front message is "Improve your diet and your life will also improve" .


I was taken a back? My diet? How could that be? So if I ever had any doubts that fairies are everywhere, I know now. I know that they saw the side order of breaded fried cheese I had with my sandwich yesterday, probably not a good choice. Or the secret, well almost secret stash of Hugs Kisses in my office are not a stellar edition to my eating plans either. Gosh! They know everything!


The little guide book also mentions the body's metobolism is very sensitve and making work harder on bad foods is slowing it down. It might be actually be keeping us away from our true life's purpose.


Actually food sensitivies are a huge discussion in my family. Through the years, we have stopped eating various foods and we have felt well in the process. The problem the outside world. If we lived in a bubble, eating this and not eating that consistently would be easy to do, no outside influence. But when you say cut out dairy and send your kids to school and all they get is pizza at every special event. And you could send extra food, but somehow that makes your child really uncomfortable. And you struggle with what you think is best, telling them to be individuals and yet you want them to fit in to a certain extent. It becomes really trying to figure out how much you stick to your guns. That being said, if it were a total medical situation hands down that is a different situation.


The guide book also says that the fairies have been leading us to this for a while, but we have chosen to not trust the message or just plain not listen. So that stuffed up head that I have today from the fried breaded cheese yesterday could have been avoided? Maybe. Should have been avoided? Definately!!


Like we discussed the other day fairies are fit. I bet they do not have any food sensitivities! We should take heed because after all, It's a Fairy World!

I Love Me, I Love Me Not

Good Morning my fellow Fairy World inhabitors!

I hope that your slumbers brought good rest to you. I personally had the visiting 3 year old in our bed last night, so both DH and I awoke with twisted backs. But the child slept well and that is all that counts! lol

This morning I asked the Fairies what the collective we needed to know and I drew the card FLOWER POWER. I cannot resist and will get it out of the way, GROOVY MAN! Anyway, the initial message on the card is "Spend time with flowers and flower essences to increase your personal healing power". The guide book suggests that we fill our house with flowers and the fairies want us to use and/or buy some flower essence that is available at the health food store. Things like rose oil or lavender.

What stood out to me about the rose oil was the book went on to say that it would open our hearts to love. Love...healing. The fairies have struck with their wisdom again! If we love ourselves, we heal ourselves!

In this current climate of the world we are all under a strain for whatever reason. We strain to help ourselves, we try to strive to help others. In that way we are showing our love to others. The type of brotherhood/sisterhood love that we all need right now and that is great! But are we loving ourselves?

We are worried about ourselves, our families. We love our families. But are we loving ourselves? Are we reminding ourselves that despite any situation that we are resilient and we can get through anything? Are we moving past the blame of any type of situation and moving toward healing? Do we bask in the hope that will change anything? We always need actions to solve anything, but if we have no hope, what's the point?

The fairies teach us a huge lesson about loving ourselves and hope. They are the protectors of the environment, because that is where they live. They want a wholesome pure home. The environment is where we live. They love themselves, they love their home. Hope lies in the promise of spring and all the beauty it brings to their home, our home. Hope is they work hard to make their home beautiful, make our home beautiful. Hope is the fairies know that somehow we are all hearing and heeding their messages more. They love themselves.

How should we love ourselves? I am sure I could give you a thousand tips to pamper yourself or perk your self up. But I truly believe that you can take some quiet time and listen to your heart. It knows. Believe what your heart is saying. You are that strong. Think of the roses. Smell the roses. And just for good measure, ask the fairies for help!

I am off to take my kids to school in this torrential down pour. Feb. showers bring May flowers!!!
